About the event
Join artists Keiko & Chisato Yamakawa for a two-part intensive workshop designed for adult beginners who have a foundational appreciation for traditional textile arts and craftsmanship. Over two 3-hour sessions, you will move beyond simple dyeing to explore the Tegaki (hand-painted) Yūzen method—a meticulous process of “painting with dye” that has defined Japanese textile art for over 300 years.
Material fee: $10 (traditional bolt of kimono fabric).
Registration covers both workshop dates.
