
Student Artwork Submissions
Submission deadline: December 12, 2025
Every year, artwork from artists grades K-12 fills the galleries of Dublin Arts Council.
This year, the vibrant exhibition is back under a new name - In the Making. This year's
exhibition will be on view January 10 - February 27, 2026.
Every young artist who submits an eligible piece of artwork will be included in the show.
This exhibition is not based on a jury process or skill level, but on bringing together the
voices of young artists in our community.
Students in grades K-12 who meet any of the following:

Attend Dublin City Schools
-
Live in the greater Dublin, Ohio area

Have participated in a Dublin Arts Council program, such as Riverboxes™, art workshops, or past student exhibitions.
Student Artist Awards
Award winners are selected by the Dublin Arts Council curator and two guest professional artists.

Best of Show: grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12

Best Use of Medium: grades 9-12
-
Best Technical Skill: grades 9-12
-
Storytelling Through Art Award (all grades eligible)
Honorable Mentions: up to three per age group.
All award winners receive Blick gift cards.

Artist-led workshops for In the Making artists

Exhibition closes and artwork pickup begins
