About the event
“S/WING”: Public Art Connecting History, Nature and Community.
We hope you’ll join us in celebrating S/WING, a new public artwork by Ivan Depeña and the latest addition to Dublin’s Art in Public Places collection.
Created specifically for its site within Muirfield, the Dublin community founded by Jack Nicklaus, the sculpture draws inspiration from the motion of birds in flight and the rhythm of the golf swing. Its dedication coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Memorial Tournament.
Brief remarks from Ivan Depeña will be followed by time to experience the artwork and enjoy the setting. This free event is open to all.
Parking is available across the street from the site at The Country Club at Muirfield Village: 8715 Muirfield Drive.
