The Earth Up Close:
Notice the Changes
On View: July 13 - Aug 30

A collection of quilts by local fiber artists, Marty Kotter and Deb Baillieul depicting their interactions with nature both near and far from home. Their witness to beauty and wonder, as well as destruction and disregard is a reminder of the value and fragility of the planet.

Professional Photographer, Helen Hoffelt, and Fiber Artist, Char Norman, have come together to produce a dynamic body of work. This collection of two-dimensional and three-dimensional work addresses environmental issues as they relate to indigenous communities. Both artists have a strong track record of contemporary work based on the idea that natural forces affect and reflect the human condition.
