Photographer Frederick Ripley, who specializes in the American railroad scene, has created more than 60,000 images since 1988. His photographs of modern railroading in the context of history and tradition will be on view in the solo exhibition, Train Interpretations, at Dublin Arts Council, 7125 Riverside Dr, in Dublin, Aug. 2 through Sept. 10. The images illustrate the railroad’s evolving interaction with its environment in beautiful natural settings throughout the country. Free of charge.
