Porter & Sayles, the collaboration of singer/songwriters Christian Porter and Regina Sayles from northeastern Penn., allure their audience with a crossover between country, folk rock and a side of southern crooning.  Porter, who appeared on Season four of NBC’s “The Voice,” blends the raw folk tones of Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers, the pop styling of Jason Mraz and the soulful, warmth of Phillip Phillips. Sayles has a strong, lovely voice that calls to mind freejazz Joni Mitchell as well as smooth and smoky Karen Carpenter and rocking Sheryl Crow. Their musical chemistry, eclectic instrumentation and lyrical collaboration creates a sonic fusion of pop, folk, rock and country. Porter & Sayles’ first original song release, “I’m Just Gonna Go,” led to their opening of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo’s 35th Anniversary Tour.
