One Session (Camp 2.1)

July 9-13, 1 – 4 p.m.

Registration deadline: June 29

Instructor: Heather Ballard

Ages 12-15

Discover how to make beautiful and interesting images using old and new photographic processes. Each student will learn how to transfer images to different surfaces, build their own pinhole camera, develop photos in the darkroom, create Cliché-Verre prints and make Cyanotype and lumen prints with the sun. Students will gain knowledge in the fundamental concepts of composition and presentation and explore ideas about why we make art!

On the first day of class, please bring a container with a tight-fitting lid such as a small shoe box, oatmeal container or coffee can and a magazine with images in it that you love!

Please bring a snack and beverage each day.  Due to allergy concerns, we are unable to provide snacks for campers. We ask that each student please bring his or her own snack.
