Temporary Public Art / Public Health Project
in Downtown Dublin

The 6-ft gallery project is a collaboration between Dublin Arts Council and the Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau, designed to showcase Dublin’s resident artists while providing physical distancing guidance during the 2020 pandemic. Four local artists are engaged in the temporary public art project, which will be on view from mid-August through Labor Day 2020 throughout downtown Dublin. The project is a component of an initiative to promote health and safety in Dublin. A total of eight, 6-foot-long decals will be affixed to sidewalks in Historic Dublin, the Bridge Park development and on the east and west sides of the Dublin Link pedestrian bridge, encouraging walkers to enjoy the 6-ft gallery while staying three paintings apart. A map, artist bios, links to a public health guide, images and more can be found at https://www.dublinarts.org/featured-items/6ftgallery/.
