Cypress Bark and Sandstone, Studies in Burnt Orange is an exhibition of art quilts by Columbus artist Frauke Palmer. Her designs are inspired by personal photos of her hiking treks in the American Southwest. Palmer was born in Germany and was raised in England and Baltimore. She earned a degree in physics at Goucher College, Baltimore, and had a long career as a high school physics and math teacher in Worthington, Ohio. In retirement, Palmer resurrected her sewing skills to explore art quilting.

Gallery hours are Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
