The Accessible Expressions Ohio exhibition, an adjudicated statewide exhibition of artworks by Ohio artists with disabilities, will be on-view at the Dublin Arts Council gallery from November 9 – December 19, 2024. The exhibition and accompanying programming aim to elevate artists with disabilities, engage the community and address equity gaps when presenting art to the public.
The project is presented in partnership with Art Possible Ohio (APO), a statewide arts organization that bridges arts and disability through programs and services to promote inclusive spaces and accessible arts opportunities for Ohioans.
Accessible Expressions Ohio will be accompanied by programming such as community workshops led by Arts Possible artists, an artist’s residency, and the screening of an independent film created by a local artist with a disability.
The Dublin Arts Council exhibition and accompanying programming are made possible through a grant from PNC Arts Alive, a multi-million dollar initiative through the PNC Foundation designed to support the visual and performing arts.
