Public Art Fellowship 2024

Job Title: Public Art Fellow

Type: Part-Time, Hybrid 

Timeline: May 2024 – August 2024

Compensation: $4,500 for 300 hours, at $15/hour


Dublin Arts Council (DAC) is seeking a Public Art Fellow to support the Art in Public Places (AiPP) program. The Fellow will work closely with the Public Art Manager to create engagement strategies, gather data, plan events and evaluate existing programming. 

The Public Art Fellow will contribute to the following projects: 

    • Public Art Incubator – DAC is hosting a two-week summer intensive from July 22 – August 2, 2024 for high schoolers that explores the public art creative process. The Fellow will attend the incubator in-person to support the lead instructor and DAC staff with general facilitation of incubator activities from 9am-2pm, Mon-Fri.
    • Public Art Speaks – DAC is holding three community events (dates TBD) to re-introduce public artworks in new and thoughtful ways. The Fellow will support DAC staff with the planning & implementation of these events. 
  • AiPP Online Presence – The Fellow will evaluate current online content, including the DAC website and Cell Phone Tour, with a focus on accessibility and engagement. They may also support an app collaboration with Visit Dublin, Ohio. 
  • The Boat in the Field ARTbox – The Fellow will design a series of prompts and creative activities inspired by the sculpture to activate an onsite “ARTbox.” 
  • Other projects or tasks may be explored, based on the Fellow’s time and interests.


  • Current or recent graduate student in an arts-related field
  • Driver’s license and mode of transportation
