Columbus-based artist Mac Worthington returns to the Dublin Arts Council gallery with the exhibition Mac Worthington: Urban Sprawls, featuring a series of abstract and expressionistic cityscape paintings and sculpture. The range and scope of Worthington’s artwork is extensive. In addition to this new series, his work encompasses well-known stainless steel and aluminum abstract wall sculptures, monumental outdoor works, radical functional art and small tabletop pieces. Worthington’s artwork can be found in collections in all 50 U.S. states, as well as in Canada, Spain, England, France, Germany and Italy.

A free public reception was held Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. Gallery hours: Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Exhibition and public reception are free of charge.
