"Art is not a luxury as many people might think - it is a necessity. It documents history - it helps to educate people and stores knowledge for generations to come." Art Connections is a series of individual resource packets that tie programs or exhibitions of Dublin Arts Council to the classroom. Each unit includes slides or a CD-Rom of images; background and artist information; vocabulary; a bibliography; and studio activities that relate directly to the resource unit. Art Connections teacher resource guides are available to borrow by contacting DAC Education & Evaluation Manager Missy Donovan at (614) 889-7444 or via e-mail at donovan@dublinarts.org. If you require that packets be mailed to you, you will be responsible for the cost of postage. The Art Connections teacher resource guides are also available below as PDF files.
