Arts-education-in-school grant applications are considered once a year. The next deadline for submission will be in Friday, January 18, 2008 at 5pm. Grants can be dropped off or mailed to Dublin Arts Council, 7125 Riverside Drive, Dublin, OH 43016.

Arts-Education-in-Schools grants are awarded to projects that:
• foster the visual, literary, musical or theatrical arts
• impact a broad segment of the Dublin community
• receive diverse financial support
• do not exceed $1,500.00 in total DAC support

Dublin Arts Council’s Arts Education in Schools grant committee has committed $1700 from Dublin Arts Council for two projects in Dublin City Schools in 2007.

Dublin Coffman High School's Creative Writing and Drama Clubs received $200 from Dublin Arts Council for playwright awards for their "Choices" original screenplay competition. Six student-written plays were performed at Dublin Coffman High School in May.

Dublin Coffman High School will also receive $1500 for script and scenery expenses for the annual student/faculty theatre production which will take place in the fall of 2007 at the school.
