David Guion Executive Director
David has worked with nonprofit arts organizations and educational institutions in New York City, the Bay Area of California and Columbus, Ohio since 1986. While raising funds for arts organizations in New York City, he had the privilege of working with such iconoclastic artists as Mikhail Baryshnikov, Trisha Brown, Merce Cunningham, Erick Hawkins, Jasper Johns, and Robert Rauschenberg, among others. In 1988 he completed an M.A. in Arts Education from The Ohio State University. In 2001 he began his doctoral coursework in Arts Education and was subsequently awarded the Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Fellowship and the Manual Barkan Dissertation Fellowship Award. David is now in the final stages of his dissertation. He has conducted fundraising seminars/workshops for a wide variety of nonprofit organizations and arts professionals in Ohio, Poland, and Chile. He presently serves on the board of directors of OhioDance.
Chuck Carnahan Project Assistant
Chuck began as a volunteer with Dublin Arts Council in 2001. He has worked as a Project Assistant since 2002, contributing to a wide variety of special projects and overseeing facility maintenance. Chuck received a BFA in computer animation and media studies from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2006.
Janet Cooper Marketing and Public Relations Manager
Janet joined DAC in spring of 2006, managing media relations, advertising and community relations efforts for the organization. Janet moved to Dublin from Arizona, where she was involved in the marketing of a number of arts organizations, including the Scottsdale Arts Festival, the Arizona Indian Arts Alliance, the McDowell Mountain Music Festival and the Scottsdale Gallery Association. She received a B.S. in Marketing Management from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City. Janet is the recipient of a Rocky Mountain Emmy Award for public affairs programming and is currently an Advisory Board member for The Bradford School and serves on the Greater Columbus Events Council.
Missy
Donovan Education & Evaluation Manager
Missy joined DAC in 2003. She manages on site-educational opportunities and assists in the development, execution and management of other educational programming at DAC. Missy coordinates the annual DAC Sundays at Scioto summer concert series, the Visual Arts Series, and works with the interns at DAC. She earned a B.A. from Otterbein College in psychology, with a minor in music, in 1994. She earned an M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 1997, and an M.A. in Arts Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University in 2005. Missy has combined her assessment experience in psychology with her arts training to study assessment of the arts. She coordinates evaluation programs for DAC
Michele
Gatz Finance Manager
Michele manages all accounting functions of Dublin Arts Council, oversees office operations and assists with the execution and management of the Dublin Art in Public Places programTM. She received a B.A. and M.A. from The Ohio State University and completed coursework in accounting at Ohio Wesleyan University. She has been with Dublin Arts Council since 1999.
Christine
Langston Program Manager
Christine joined DAC in 2001, collaborating with staff on DAC programs, including the Visual Arts Series, Dublin Art in Public Places program, DAC Sundays at Scioto summer concert series and other special events. She serves as volunteer coordinator for DAC and also manages administrative duties for the organization. Christine studied art and theatre at Kent State University.
